About the Event

Opening our “Windows on the World”*

An introduction to cultural life positions**, a concept from Transactional Analysis, to explore how we perceive our own and other cultures, to enhance awareness and develop assertiveness in our cross-cultural interactions.

Cultural life positions illustrate different views that we may hold of our culture and other cultures based on our assumptions and experience. From each position we see the world in a different way, which impacts our behavior and attitude, bringing insight to cultural incidents and how to develop our intercultural sensitivity.
